PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver
PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver
2 Days to Complete
Buoyancy is an essential diving skill, whether it’s controlling your position on a wreck, avoiding contact with the reef on a drift dive, or hovering effortlessly to take breathtaking underwater photos.
Perfecting your ‘trim’ underwater encourages you to streamline your equipment and know how to add and check the correct amount of weight for your dives. You will look at your position and finning techniques while learning how to relax, and better control your breathing and movement underwater. Being more relaxed and trim underwater reduces the effort needed to move through the water. This helps us conserve our breathing gas, which could mean more time under the water.
We start your course off with a classroom session with your dedicated Instructor, and an in-depth buoyancy workshop in the pool. You will then go out for two dives over one day. Combined with the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver Specialty Manual, we will provide you with the knowledge and skills to really start improving your positioning underwater.
And don’t forget, the first dive of this Specialty Course, counts towards your PADI Adventure and Advanced Open Water Certification! The full Specialty Course counts towards the elite PADI Master Scuba Diver rating!
